Everything below lives on the landing page too: here it is in one place, without the pitch up top. Take your time.
Here's how the agent weaves the essential of the week into an everyday afterschool check-in, without sounding like a textbook.
Simple daily check-ins. How was school? What's on tonight? The agent learns their schedule, their triggers, their interests, and what "a bad day" actually means to them.
Tired on Mondays. Maths anxiety on Thursdays. Focus dips after lunch. The agent quietly connects the dots across conversations and starts planning around them, not against them.
Stillness becomes a two-minute reset before maths revision. Body-as-temple becomes a movement break that fits their sport. The curriculum stops being generic: it's tailored to their world, one conversation at a time.
Morning Minute speaks their day into focus. After-school check-in plans the evening. The eight essentials unfold week by week, each one delivered the way this teen actually learns.
Every conversation feeds the next. Nothing is sent to the cloud: the learning lives on your teen's device, with them, for as long as they keep it.
Your teen works through the training modules at their own pace: any day, any time. Then every Tuesday at 5:00 PM, join the live Q&A session for help, feedback, and community.
Each module pairs a build layer with a new essential. Work through them at your own pace. By the final module, the agent teaches all eight (with personalised activities for each), and the three daily rituals run on autopilot.
The Afterschool Agent programme is hosted by a safeguarding-cleared facilitator. Before any teen logs on, the host holds the following verified credentials:
State-issued clearance confirming the host is approved to work with minors: the baseline requirement for any programme involving young people.
National Disability Insurance Scheme clearance, verifying the host meets the strict conduct and safety standards required to support vulnerable participants.
Current accredited training in emergency first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, because a responsible host is prepared for the physical as well as the digital.
Accredited training in recognising and responding to mental health challenges in young people: knowing the signs, how to listen, and when to escalate to professional support.
Four checks. One promise: your teen learns in a space that is supervised, safe, and accountable.
Pay once. Get full access to all training modules, the weekly live Q&A, and the community. The software is free forever: you're paying for the instruction, the guided build, and the support.
Limited to 10 per cohort. Next one starts when you are.
This is a self-paced build, not a magic install. To get the most out of the Afterschool Agent programme, you'll need these things in place first. None of them are expensive, but they are real.
A personal laptop or desktop running Windows, macOS, or Linux, one the teen has full admin access to. Not a school laptop. School-issued machines typically block installations, sandbox new software, and reset on logout, all of which break the agent.
Minimum spec: 8 GB RAM, 2 GB free SSD storage, modern CPU (any laptop made after 2018).
A one-time $20 credit on an OpenRouter.ai account at openrouter.ai. This is required to set up the agent system and configure advanced features. The $20 credit covers the initial agent build and personalisation step. After that, the agent runs primarily on the device itself.
OpenRouter gives you access to leading open-source models (DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen, GLM, Grok, and more) behind one pay-as-you-go gateway.
Once set up, the agent runs mostly locally: no ongoing API bills for everyday use. For the best experience, install a small open-source model (we recommend LFM2-700M or similar) directly on the device. It's free, runs offline, and keeps everyday conversations private.
Keep your $20 OpenRouter.ai credit topped up as you go for advanced tasks (deep personalisation, weekly curriculum reviews, parent reports). Most families find $20 covers the first few months; ongoing costs depend on how heavy the usage is.
The Morning Minute audio briefing and daily check-ins are delivered through Telegram or WhatsApp. Your teen needs a registered account on one of these services on their phone. Both are free and available on any smartphone.
The agent sends messages, not the other way around: no bots, no spam, no data collection. Just a good morning and a plan for the day.
The software itself is free forever. The agent lives on your device. The cost is for the gateway access during setup and the occasional advanced query, not for everyday use.
New training module for advanced agent building. Your teen learns to create custom agent skills, connect external tools, deploy local AI models, and build collaborative multi-agent workflows. For graduates who want to go further.
