The Afterschool Agent runs entirely on your teen's personal computer using Hermes, a local-first AI agent platform. The agent's memory, plans, morning briefings, and personalisation data all live on your device. Nothing is sent to the cloud for everyday use.
Your teen does not need to create accounts with third-party services to use the agent. The only external account is a one-time $5 OpenCode Go setup gateway, which is used solely during the initial configuration phase.
Because everything runs locally, you retain full control over your data at all times. You can delete the agent, its memory, and all associated files at any time by simply removing the software from your computer.
The Morning Minute audio briefing is delivered via Telegram or WhatsApp. These messages are sent by the agent — not received from external parties. No incoming data is collected through these channels.
Payment information is handled through standard email invoicing. We do not store credit card or payment details on our servers.
