On-Demand Training + Weekly Live Q&A
In a world full of
AI agents,
we give young people agency in real life.

Your teen builds their own AI agent. One that teaches life skills and guides them to grow.

In a world full of AI agents, we give young people agency in real life. On-demand training where they build a local-first AI companion that walks them through the eight essentials of onetoeight — personalising each one with activities that fit their life. The agent also helps with homework, planning, and the day ahead. No coding experience needed. No cloud accounts. Everything lives on their device. Plus a weekly live Q&A session every Tuesday.

Part 1 — The Idea

An afterschool hour where your teen learns to build, not just consume.

Your teen learns through on-demand training modules they can follow at their own pace, on their own schedule. Each module covers a piece of the build, with step-by-step video and hands-on exercises. Then, every Tuesday at 4:30 PM, we come together for a live Q&A session — bring your questions, get help, and learn alongside other teens. For one hour, we work together to build a personal AI agent using Hermes — a free, local-first agent platform that runs on a laptop or desktop. No cloud accounts. No data leaving the device. The agent's primary job is to guide your teen through the eight essentials of onetoeight — with personalised activities the agent designs for them. Homework help, planning, and research are the bonus, not the point.

What your teen gets

  • A working AI agent running on your home computer — free, no subscriptions, no cloud
  • Guided learning through all eight essentials, with personalised activities the agent creates for your teen
  • The three daily rituals: Afterschool Chat, Planning, and Morning Minute text-to-speech
  • An agent that knows which essential they're working on and weaves it into every conversation
  • Fully secular — your teen tailors the agent to their own beliefs. No pressure to think otherwise
  • Skills they can reuse — the same agent can then help with homework, research, and planning

What parents get

  • Peace of mind — everything runs locally, no data sent to third parties
  • A structured on-demand programme anchored to the eight essentials
  • Weekly live Q&A session every Tuesday with a real instructor
  • Flexible schedule — learn at your own pace, any time
  • A tool the whole family can use once it's built

This programme is fully secular. The eight essentials — silence, body, community, nature, digital self-defence, life skills, knowledge, and tested convictions — are practical foundations for any young person. Your teen tailors their agent to reflect their own beliefs and values. No worldview is pushed. No pressure to think otherwise.

Part 2 — The Three Rituals

Three things the agent does every single day.

Through on-demand training modules, your teen configures their agent to perform three daily rituals. By the end, these run automatically — the agent greets them after school, helps them plan, and speaks a one-minute morning briefing when they wake up.

💬
Ritual 1 · After School

The Afterschool Chat

Your teen sits down, opens their agent, and talks. How was the day? What's weighing on you? What's the plan tonight? The agent listens, reflects, and helps them decompress before screen time takes over. It's a grounding conversation — the essential of silence and real community in practice.

Anytime · On-demand
📋
Ritual 2 · Evening

The Planning Session

Before bed, the agent helps them map tomorrow. School tasks, homework deadlines, the essential they're working on this week, one real-world thing they want to do. The agent drafts the plan, your teen edits it, and it saves locally. No app, no account, no cloud sync — just their agent remembering for them.

Anytime · Self-paced
🔊
Ritual 3 · Every Morning

The Morning Minute

This is the magic. Each morning, the agent generates a one-minute text-to-speech audio briefing — their plan, their essential for the week, a thought to carry, a breath to take. Your teen wakes up, presses play, and starts the day with intention instead of a feed. The agent builds it overnight from yesterday's plan.

Auto-generated · Every day
The Core — The Eight Essentials

The agent doesn't just chat. It teaches.

The onetoeight programme has eight essentials — the eight insights a screen-born generation needs. Your teen's agent is configured to teach each one, with activities it personalises for who they are. Not generic worksheets. Not a one-size app. The agent learns your teen and tailors the essential to their world.

How does the agent personalise each essential?

The agent isn't reading from a script. During the live sessions, your teen tells the agent about themselves — what they like, what's hard, what their week looks like. The agent uses that to design activities that actually fit. A sporty kid gets a different Body-as-Temple challenge than a bookish one. A teen who's anxious about screens gets a gentler Digital Self-Defence ramp than one who's already cutting back.

Every activity is saved locally with a short reflection. By the end of the programme, your teen has a portfolio of eight personalised essential challenges — and an agent that knows them well enough to keep going.

  • Module 1: Your teen tells the agent their name, interests, and how they're feeling. The agent picks an Essential 1 activity for them.
  • Each module: The agent reviews last time's activity, asks how it went, and designs the next one based on their answer.
  • Every morning: The Morning Minute weaves in the essential they're working on — a reminder, a nudge, a question to carry.
  • By the end: All eight essentials are configured. The agent cycles through them, adapting as your teen grows.
  • A Glimpse — What the Agent Sounds Like

This is the conversation your teen builds.

Here's how the agent weaves the essential of the week into an everyday afterschool check-in — without sounding like a textbook.

4:32 PM — Monday · Essential of the week: Silence & Stillness
Hey, school was okay. Kind of tired. Got a maths test Thursday.
Good to hear from you. Let's be real — tired and a test on Thursday. This week's essential is stillness. Want to try one minute of quiet before we plan, or do you need to talk first?
    Maybe a minute.
Alright. Timer starts now. One minute of stillness. I'll wait.
    4:35 PM
Welcome back. How was that? Now let's look at Thursday — want me to draft a study plan, 30 minutes Tuesday, 45 Wednesday, review Thursday morning?
Yeah, and can you make the morning minute about the test?
Done. Your Morning Minute tomorrow will open with: "Thursday's your maths test. You've prepared. Take one breath. Then trust the work." And we'll try another stillness minute at the end — that's your Essential 1 challenge for today.
Part 3 — How It Works

    On-demand training. Weekly live Q&A.

Your teen works through the training modules at their own pace — any day, any time. Then every Tuesday at 4:30 PM, join the live Q&A session for help, feedback, and community.

    Part 4 — The Modules

What we build, module by module.

Each module pairs a build layer with a new essential. Work through them at your own pace. By the final module, the agent teaches all eight — with personalised activities for each — and the three daily rituals run on autopilot.

    Module 1
    Foundations + Essential 1: Silence & Stillness
Install Hermes on a home computer. Learn what a local-first agent is and why data stays on your device. Set up the Afterschool Chat. The agent learns who your teen is and designs their first personalised Silence & Stillness activity.

    Module 2
    Planning + Essentials 2 & 3: Body & Wisdom
Build the evening planning ritual. The agent now designs Body-as-Temple and Scripture & Wisdom activities tailored to your teen. Plans save locally. The agent connects each essential to the plan for the week.

    Module 3
    Morning Minute + Essentials 4 & 5: Nature & Digital Defence
Configure text-to-speech. The agent generates a one-minute audio briefing overnight, weaving in the essential of the week. Your teen wakes up, presses play, and starts the day with intention. Nature Connection and Digital Self-Defence activities go live.

    Module 4
    Extend + Essentials 6, 7 & 8: Life Skills, Community, Character
The final three essentials are configured. The agent now cycles through all eight, adapting activities as your teen grows. We extend the agent for homework help and research. Your teen learns to write their own agent skills. Certificate of completion.

    Part 6 — Questions

    Things parents ask.

Does my teen need to know how to code?
No. Hermes is a natural-language agent platform — your teen configures it by talking to it and writing plain-English instructions. We teach everything step by step in the live sessions. If they can use a chat app, they can build an agent.
    What equipment do we need?
A laptop or desktop computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux) with internet access for the live webcast. That's it. The Hermes software is free and runs locally. No special hardware, no GPU, no cloud account.
    Is my teen's data safe?
Yes. Everything runs on your home computer. No data is sent to the cloud. No accounts to create with third parties. The agent's memory, plans, and morning briefings all live on your device. You can delete everything at any time.
What if we miss a session?
No problem. The training modules are on-demand, so your teen can work through them any time. The weekly live Q&A is recorded and made available to enrolled teens. Miss a Tuesday? Catch the recording. The programme is designed so you never fall behind — every module and recording is accessible for as long as you need.
    What age is this for?
This guide is written for 13-23 year olds. The content is the eight essentials from the onetoeight programme — silence, body, scripture, nature, digital self-defence, life skills, community, and tested character. The agent build is age-appropriate and doesn't require any prior technical knowledge.
    Is this a religious programme?
No. The programme is fully secular. The eight essentials are practical foundations — silence, body, community, nature, digital self-defence, life skills, knowledge, and tested convictions — that benefit any young person regardless of their background. Your teen tailors the agent to incorporate their own beliefs and values. The agent is theirs to shape. No worldview is pushed, and there's no pressure to think one way or another.
    Can siblings join?
Yes — one enrolment covers one teen, but siblings can sit in on the webcast and build their own agents on the same computer. Each agent runs independently with its own memory and personality.
    What happens after the programme?
The agent is yours forever. The software is free. Your teen keeps the three daily rituals running and can extend the agent on their own — for homework, projects, research, anything. The weekly Q&A remains available for as long as you want to keep attending.
Your Host — Safe & Vetted

Every live session is run by a screened instructor.

The Afterschool Agent programme is hosted by a safeguarding-cleared facilitator. Before any teen logs on, the host holds the following verified credentials:

    🛡️
    Credential 1

    Working with Children Check

State-issued clearance confirming the host is approved to work with minors — the baseline requirement for any programme involving young people.

    Credential 2

    NDIS Worker Screening

National Disability Insurance Scheme clearance, verifying the host meets the strict conduct and safety standards required to support vulnerable participants.

    ❤️
    Credential 3

    First Aid & CPR

Current accredited training in emergency first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation — because a responsible host is prepared for the physical as well as the digital.

    🧠
    Credential 4

    Youth Mental Health First Aid

Accredited training in recognising and responding to mental health challenges in young people — knowing the signs, how to listen, and when to escalate to professional support.

Four checks. One promise: your teen learns in a space that is supervised, safe, and accountable.

Give your teen an agent that teaches the eight.

On-demand training. Weekly live Q&A. $44.88 one-time. A local-first AI companion they built themselves — learning all eight essentials through personalised activities, with morning briefings to start each day right. And yes, it helps with homework too.
